L'antica trattoria "Ai Mediatori" è un tipico locale che sorge al centro di Tombolo. Gli attuali proprietari rivelano che "Ai Mediatori" esiste almeno da 120 anni e che il locale è sempre stato rinomato per la preparazione di piatti tipici della cucina veneta, quali la minestra di fagioli con trippa, i risotti, i bolliti misti e la trippa in umido. La trattoria era in passato punto d'incontro di mediatori e commercianti provenienti da tutta Europa, che si recavano a Tombolo per il mercato del bestiame. Il ruolo fondamentale che la trattoria ha avuto è attestato da fatto che durante la seconda guerra mondiale il locale è rimasto aperto nonostante la mancanza di viveri!

The ancient trattoria "To the Mediators" is a typical premises that rises to the center of Tombolo. The actual owners reveal that "To the Mediators" exists  from 120 years and that the premises always is known for the preparation of typical plates of the veneta kitchen, which the "minestra of fagioli with trippa", the "risotto" and bubbled mixed with "trippa" in humid. The restaurant anciently was point of encounter of mediators and traders from all Europe, than they oed to Tombolo for the market of the cattle. The fundamental role that the trattoria has had is attested from fact that during the second world war the premises is remained opened in spite of the lack of provisions!
